Mr. Ismaeel Abiodun Sikiru

Ismaeel Abiodun Sikiru is a Lecturer I in the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin.

He has been saddled with the tripartite responsibilities of teaching, research, and community services since he joined the service of the University. He has served as the Level Adviser, Project Supervisor and Coordinator, SIWES Coordinator, and Member of various committees within and outside the University.

He has to his credit more than a dozen publications in peer-reviewed outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has served as a member of the team that won research grants on different occasions. His research interests include Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity.

He is a beneficiary of the PASET Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund PhD Scholarship in the thematic area of ICTs including Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. He also belongs to many professional bodies.
